As I say good-by to 2013, not a bad year at all, as a matter of fact,
quite a good year for a year with a “13” in it!
Looking ahead, I wonder, “What will this year bring?”
Who will drift in and out of our lives?
What exciting things lay ahead?
Let us embrace this new year
Make an oath to better ourselves
Become that person we strive to be!
When the new year comes to and end
we can look back and say,
“It was a good year!”
