Keeping Up With My Aunt Nancy

WINONA LAKE, IN SEPTEMBER 19, 2018

I’m on vacation this week in Indiana visiting my Aunt Nancy (Mom’s sister) and her family. It is an annual event I look forward to in order to keep the family connection strong.

This year, she enrolled in art classes at the retirement center. She had been a very skilled oil painter and her work was sought after by many family members and others. It has been a while since she painted but she got into it and it is all coming back. She had to switch to acrylic which she finds challenging but I think she is doing very well.
